Product name: HEYROO Milk Patbingsu
Price: 2,500 ; I got some discount with T Membership but I don't remember.. anyway it was some discount.
Amount: generous ; for one person, enough to feel slightly too much
Taste: average, but still satisfying for the price; if you ask me for stars, ★★★☆☆
But since the bingsu alone falls short on taste, I wisely went ahead and added 'toppings.' Honestly, I think any topping works fine.
I'm someone who thinks PB (private brand) products are the way to go, so I do think it'd be great if things like this were made in more variety.
But by the nature of bingsu, it's far from the freshly-piled softness of bingsu made at a bingsu shop... However, when it melts and you mix it up to eat, it tastes kind of like a Frappuccino. So it seems better than a Frappuccino. It's cheaper too (2,500 / at least 4,000).
- Recommended topping list
Recommendation 1) Cereal (calorie explosion) - if you use sugar-free cereal it's pretty decent; bingsu is sweet anyway.
Recommendation 2) Oreos (calorie explosion..2)
Recommendation 3) Peanuts/nuts (also a calorie explosion...3)
Recommendation 4) Fruit (the best are kiwi, banana, and strawberry; since banana and kiwi are available year-round, I recommend banana and kiwi)
I think I'll buy it a few more times. Besides that there's also a cookies-and-cream bingsu, but I can't find the photo. Next time I'll post a photo of the cookies-and-cream bingsu..
