The cost was 30,000 won (considering the few cubic zirconia stones and the size of the leather...)
The time it took was about 4 hours 30 minutes, so figuring on about 5 hours should do it.
They say they're open Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri 10–1 and 2–6, and on Wednesday only 2–6,
so you should visit to match those time slots. ^^
The process is as follows.
1. Choose the desired product size
2. Quickly think in your head how you'll design it, take the tools that can stamp patterns and put in the patterns
3. Dry the pattern-stamped leather very, very thoroughly with a hair dryer
4. Dye it
5. Finish after sewing work
This is the result of sitting in the workshop for nearly 5 hours making it.
When I first stamped the patterns, to create the feeling of two hearts and the hearts connected to the sky
I used a bridge-shaped 'animal,' and if there's one thing to be careful of, it's that when stamping patterns you spray water on the leather (with a spray bottle),
and at this time, if you don't strike down hard with the hammer, the pattern doesn't get engraved well—that's important.
The more you stamp patterns at various heights and of various kinds, the more incredibly beautiful it is. (Since I'm not a design major, I can't do professional design.)
The first photo I did with only musical notes, stars, and an umbrella, and it turned out better than expected,
and the second photo has hearts and a bridge as the main theme.
As a result of the dyeing work, the tips of my hands were all stained purple.
For the dye, I gave an accent with yellow, applied blue as the base, and then dyed the base once more deeply with purple.
The dyeing work alone takes over an hour, and this is because, trusting the teacher's words that the more you layer over a lightly applied color the better the color comes out,
I applied the color with an enormous amount of wiping...
If I try it and the reaction is good, I should hurry and give a gift to my parents too.
I'll make it as a phone charm. *huff huff*..
