J.S bach Goldberg Variations, Glenn Gould

I first heard these Goldberg Variations in a drama. I first heard it in a drama called 'Snow Queen' starring Hyun Bin; it appeared very briefly in episode 1, and after that, this music would play when Hyun Bin recalled his friend and when Sung Yu-ri wanted to remember her brother.
Bach's Goldberg Variations is a representative piece of canon-form music. It is composed in such a way that one voice follows another, and at the same time it adopts the variation form, so the music proceeds with a consistent 'feeling' in each theme.
What's amazing about Bach is, really, how he could compose such different variations all with the same feeling..
