Gaeul Banghak - Gaeul Banghak

All I know about this artist is that there's a member who came from 'Broccoli, you too'?? Honestly, since I have no idea at all how broad the scope of an 'indie band' is, writing about an indie band's album like this is a little uncomfortable. Because writing about a world I don't know is itself not an easy thing for me.
But when I'm listening to this album, I try to concentrate on each and every lyric. I don't know why I'm like that, but it's probably because this female vocalist's voice suits me well. And it may also be because, as someone who's now been buying 'albums' for two years, listening to the music of groups that aren't promoted, like indie bands, means I'm engaging in the behavior of an 'echo-consumer' (?).
Certainly, at first I have memories of scouring the whole internet 'Onbada' to get illegal music files (I remember it was when I was in middle school). In my younger sibling's case, they kept downloading from cafes. But at some point, the moment I stopped watching TV and stopped listening to music, all those things simply became pointless.
Instead, I started buying albums. Starting from Alex's 1st album, then Sung Si-kyung's 6th, Kim Tae-woo's 1st, the Snow Queen OST, and so on.... The new semester has started now, and I've already splurged on as many as 4 in one month...... Gaeul Banghak's 1st album, god's 6th, the Late Autumn OST, the Solanin OST, and tomorrow Kim Tae-woo's 2nd album will probably arrive too..... It even makes me wonder whether I'm buying too many albums...
But so what. Ever since I started buying albums, I've gotten the feeling that I've become a more upright adult. So I'm satisfied. And I recommend to my friends listening to music through buying albums like this. To become a more honest consumer. To make consumption that contributes more to society. Because when we do that, our descendants will buy albums too.
