0. Introduction
One of the dreams I wanted to fulfill upon becoming a university student was to steadily go to 'exhibitions.' So I steadily did that, and now I'm very satisfied with having gone to exhibitions that way. This is probably a good memory that will come to mind again and again, and I think it could also become an eye that sees the world beautifully. Now that more than 5 years have passed since I took an interest in art and continuously paid attention to it, I've formed my own concepts about art, and now I've reached the point where I can spin those concepts out in writing, so I made a plan. Stories for people interested in art.
1. Content
Since we live in the contemporary era, we'll surely have many chances to see 'contemporary art,' but the number of works created in the modern period before the contemporary era is enormous and they're things we know well too, so adding an understanding of 'modern art' will also help in understanding the context of contemporary art. And since 'art' isn't just one kind, painting, I also plan to write about what kinds of 'works' there are, and if I get the chance I'd like to briefly cover the medieval and ancient periods too. They're all things that can be connected to today's art. I'll spin out here the small bits of cultivation, sort of, that I gained along with my thoughts.
2. The rough order is as follows.
1) My method of dividing the eras
2) Kinds of art
3) Trying to distinguish exhibitions
4) Art before the contemporary era
5) Contemporary art
This is what I'm planning, and I think more stories may come out for each item—since I won't write the whole method of dividing the eras at once, and likewise the other items would take too much capacity and far too much time to write out each as a single piece all at once, and the writing probably wouldn't get posted well—so I plan to divide it into pieces and write calmly.
If by chance there's a particular artist or story you're curious about, please leave a comment, and I'll refer to it when posting. Secret comments are welcome too, and it's fine to remain anonymous. The one thing I worry about is that there's a lot of this kind of content on other blogs too, but well, what does it matter—I'm satisfied with telling my own story and someone seeing it and being able to get some help from it.
